Further conference speakers included Ulster Unionist MEP Jim Nicholson; Syed Kamall MEP, leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the European Parliament; Dave Anderson MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and Scotland and Colum Eastwood MLA, Leader of the SDLP.
The conference concluded with the keynote address by the leader of the Ulster Unionist Party and leader of the Official Opposition, Mike Nesbitt MLA, who outlined his vision for Northern Ireland.
In addition to supporting the conference dinner, ACRE also participated as a conference exhibitor – this proved to be an important opportunity for Ulster Unionist Party elected representatives, members and other conference attendees to learn more about the Alliance.
