The third webinar in "Europe Debates" series
The European Conservatives and Reformists Party invite you to join us for the third in our Europe Debates series: Russia - Europe’s Main Threat?.
Whilst the Western World has been distracted by the Coronavirus – Russia has quietly been reinforcing its position. Over the last few months the Kremlin has become increasingly bold in its use of misinformation in European member states, and it’s redeployment of troops along its frontier. Adding only to the already long list of Russian aggression around the world – from the invasion of Ukraine and Georgia to interference in elections in the Balkans to carrying out covert operations in the heart of the English countryside.
Without a strong international response Russia will continue to spread its influence across Europe and weaken democratic institutions. The European Conservatives and Reformists have long been at the forefront of the fight against Russian aggression and in this online panel we will address what needs to be done to tackle Russia as the main threat to Europe.
